How does DecorViz work?

DecorViz works in three steps. You upload a photo of your room, upload an image of the product you are considering, and the AI generates a realistic preview of that product placed inside your room. Most previews are ready in seconds.

Behind those three steps, the AI does the hard part. It reads the room's perspective and depth from your single photo, finds the floor and surfaces, and estimates the lighting. It then isolates the product from its image, even when that image is a store screenshot with text and buttons around it, and places the product into your room at a sensible position. Matched shadows, reflections, and scale are added so the result looks like a real photo rather than a sticker.

You provide two ordinary images and nothing else. There is no AR, no 3D model, no room scan, and no special hardware. DecorViz runs in a web browser and as an Android app, with an iOS app coming soon. It works with product images from almost any retailer, including IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, and independent stores, as long as the product is clearly visible.

You can keep iterating. Try a different color, a different product, or a different spot in the room until you are confident. DecorViz shows how a product looks at a realistic size in your space. It is not a tape measure, so for final dimensions and clearance, check the product's specifications.
