PAYMENT & BILLING POLICY

1. Introduction
This Payment & Billing Policy governs all payments, billing, subscriptions, and refunds for DecorViz AI ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating at https://decorviz.ai (the "Service").
Development Stage Notice: This company is currently in development. Final company registration details will be added before public launch.
This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By purchasing any paid plan or feature, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have meanings from the Terms of Service.
2. Plans and Pricing
2.1 Available Plans
We offer various access levels including:
- Free tier: Limited preview generations, watermarked, personal use only
- Pay-as-you-go packs: One-time purchase, specified preview credits, non-expiring
- Subscriptions: Recurring monthly or annual billing with monthly limits
Higher tiers may include: higher/unlimited limits, commercial use rights, reduced/no watermarks, priority processing, API access, bulk uploads, or premium support.
2.2 Current Pricing
Current pricing, plan limits, features, and availability are published at https://decorviz.ai. Pricing and features may change anytime as described in Section 10.
We may introduce, modify, discontinue plans, or change pricing, limits, and features at our sole discretion.
2.3 Currency
Prices are displayed in applicable currency based on your location. All transactions are processed in the currency shown at checkout.
3. Billing Cycles and Renewals
3.1 One-Time Purchases
Pay-as-you-go packs are one-time purchases. Credits don't expire but remain subject to these Terms. One-time purchases don't auto-renew.
3.2 Subscription Billing
- Monthly: Billed monthly on the same day each month as initial subscription (or last day if month has fewer days)
- Annual: Billed annually on the same date each year
3.3 Automatic Renewal
SUBSCRIPTIONS AUTO-RENEW UNLESS CANCELLED BEFORE THE NEXT BILLING DATE. By subscribing, you authorize automatic charges to your payment method on each billing date.
You must ensure your payment method remains valid with sufficient funds. Payment failure may result in service suspension.
4. Payment Authorization and Processing
4.1 Payment Methods
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other methods via our third-party payment processor. We don't directly process or store complete payment credentials.
4.2 Payment Processor
All payments are processed by third-party processors. By providing payment information, you authorize us and our processor to charge for all fees due.
You agree to abide by processor terms. We are not responsible for processor errors, delays, or failures.
4.3 Authorization and Holds
We may authorize or place temporary holds to verify validity and funds. This isn't a charge but may temporarily reduce available balance.
4.4 Successful Payment Required
Paid features require successful payment. Payment failure, decline, or reversal may result in immediate suspension until payment succeeds.
5. Taxes
5.1 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, levies, tariffs, and charges imposed by any governmental authority, including sales tax, VAT, GST, and withholding taxes.
5.2 Tax Collection
We may charge and collect applicable taxes based on your billing address or location. The charged amount may include such taxes.
Tax-exempt businesses must provide valid documentation before purchase. Exemptions apply prospectively upon verification.
5.3 Exclusive of Taxes
All stated prices exclude taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise. Final charged amount may be higher due to taxes.
6. Free Tier and Conversion
6.1 Free Tier Access
Free tier provides limited lifetime preview generations with watermarks and personal-use-only restrictions.
6.2 Conversion to Paid
You may convert anytime. Upon conversion:
- You're immediately charged applicable fees
- Free tier balance doesn't transfer
- Paid features begin immediately upon successful payment
6.3 Free Tier Changes
We may modify or discontinue the free tier anytime, including reducing free previews, changing features, or eliminating free access. Existing users may be grandfathered or migrated at our discretion.
7. Cancellation and Downgrade
7.1 Cancellation by You
Cancel anytime through account settings or by contacting us.
Cancellation is effective at end of current billing period. You retain access until period end, but subscription won't renew.
NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR UNUSED TIME OR CREDITS, except as stated in Section 8.
7.2 No Partial Refunds
Cancellation doesn't entitle you to refunds or prorated credits for remaining time or unused credits.
7.3 Downgrade
Downgrade anytime. Takes effect at end of current billing period. No refund or credit for price difference. Higher-tier features terminate and unused credits may be forfeited or adjusted.
8. Refund Policy
8.1 General No-Refund Policy
ALL PAYMENTS ARE GENERALLY FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE, INCLUDING:
- SUBSCRIPTION FEES (monthly or annual)
- ONE-TIME PURCHASES
- FAILED GENERATIONS: No refunds if generation fails, produces unsatisfactory results, takes longer than expected, or requires retries
- POOR QUALITY: No refunds if Previews are poor quality, inaccurate, unrealistic, or fail to meet expectations
- UNUSED CREDITS/PREVIEWS: No refunds for unused credits, generations, or subscription time
- CANCELLATION: Cancelling doesn't entitle refund for current period
8.2 Extremely Limited Exception for First-Time Subscriptions
We may provide refund for first-time subscription purchase if all conditions are met:
- Request within 14 days of initial subscription purchase
- You generated zero (0) previews using subscription (no Service use at all)
- This is your first subscription purchase (not renewals, changes, or subsequent subscriptions)
- You contact us with clear refund request and explanation
This does not apply to:
- One-time preview packs
- Subscription renewals
- Plan upgrades or downgrades
- Subscriptions where any preview was attempted (even if failed or unsatisfactory)
- Free tier conversions
- Any situation where any Service feature was used
Requests meeting criteria will be evaluated case-by-case at our sole discretion. We may deny any refund request.
8.3 Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate, incorrect amount, charge after cancellation), contact us immediately. We'll investigate and may issue refund or credit at our sole discretion.
8.4 Fraudulent Requests
We may deny refund requests we determine to be fraudulent, abusive, or not made in good faith. Repeated refund requests or patterns of subscription-and-cancellation may result in account termination and denial of future service.
9. EU and UK Consumer Right of Withdrawal
9.1 Applicability
Applies to consumers in the European Union or United Kingdom purchasing digital content or services.
9.2 Statutory Right
You have a statutory right to withdraw from purchase within 14 days without reason (the "Withdrawal Right").
9.3 Express Consent and Waiver
BY PURCHASING AND PROCEEDING TO GENERATE PREVIEWS, YOU EXPRESSLY REQUEST AND CONSENT TO IMMEDIATE PERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICE.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR WITHDRAWAL RIGHT IS LOST IMMEDIATELY UPON COMMENCEMENT OF PREVIEW GENERATION OR SERVICE USE, EVEN IF GENERATION FAILS, PRODUCES UNSATISFACTORY RESULTS, OR TAKES LONGER THAN EXPECTED.
Once you generate (or attempt) even a single preview after purchase, you lose your statutory withdrawal right.
9.4 Confirmation at Checkout
At purchase, you will be required to:
- Check a box or provide explicit confirmation acknowledging immediate Service performance
- Acknowledge you'll lose withdrawal right once preview generation commences
- Consent to immediate performance
IF YOU DON'T WISH TO LOSE YOUR WITHDRAWAL RIGHT, DON'T GENERATE ANY PREVIEWS WITHIN THE 14-DAY PERIOD.
9.5 How to Exercise Withdrawal Right
If you haven't used the Service (generated any previews) and wish to exercise withdrawal right within 14 days, send clear statement to our contact information or use the model withdrawal form under EU consumer law.
If valid and timely, we'll refund all payments within 14 days of receiving notice.
9.6 No Withdrawal for Failed or Poor Generations
Failed generation, poor results, or unmet expectations do not restore or extend withdrawal right. Once you've commenced Service use (even if result is unsatisfactory), withdrawal right is lost.
10. Changes to Pricing, Plans, and Features
10.1 Right to Modify
We may change pricing, plan features, usage limits, and availability anytime without prior notice.
10.2 Notice of Material Changes
If we make material changes negatively affecting your existing subscription, we'll provide at least 30 days' advance notice via:
- Posting notice on the Service
- Email to your account email
10.3 Effect on Existing Subscriptions
Price Increases: New price takes effect at next renewal following notice period. You may cancel before renewal to avoid increase.
Feature/Limit Changes: May take effect immediately or at next renewal, at our discretion. We're not obligated to grandfather existing users, though may do so at discretion.
10.4 Acceptance of Changes
Continued use or failure to cancel before effective date constitutes acceptance of new pricing, features, or limits.
11. Plan Changes, Upgrades, and Downgrades
11.1 Upgrade
Upgrade anytime. When upgrading:
- You may be charged the difference prorated for remainder of current period (at our discretion)
- Alternatively, full new plan price may be charged immediately with billing cycle reset
- New features and limits take effect immediately
11.2 Downgrade
Downgrade anytime. Takes effect at end of current billing period. No refund or credit for price difference. Unused higher-tier credits or features may be forfeited.
11.3 Proration
Any proration for upgrades or downgrades is at our sole discretion. We're not obligated to provide prorated credits or refunds.
12. Payment Failures and Retries
12.1 Failed Payments
If payment fails (insufficient funds, expired card, decline), we may:
- Retry payment automatically one or more times
- Suspend paid features immediately or after grace period
- Downgrade to free tier
- Terminate account
12.2 Your Responsibility
You must maintain valid payment method with sufficient funds. We're not responsible for consequences of failed payments, including loss of access, data deletion, or termination.
12.3 Reactivation
To reactivate suspended subscription, update payment method and pay outstanding fees. We may require late fees or reinstatement fees (if applicable under local law).
13. Chargebacks and Disputes
13.1 Chargeback Consequences
IF YOU INITIATE CHARGEBACK OR PAYMENT DISPUTE, WE MAY IMMEDIATELY SUSPEND OR TERMINATE YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTICE.
Chargebacks are material breach of these Terms. We may:
- Permanently ban your account
- Refuse future services
- Pursue legal action to recover disputed amount plus fees, costs, and damages
13.2 Contact Us First
Before initiating chargeback, contact us. We'll work in good faith to resolve legitimate billing issues.
13.3 Chargeback Fees
If chargeback is filed, we may charge an administrative fee (up to $25 USD or maximum permitted by law) plus disputed amount to cover response costs. If chargeback is reversed in our favor, we may retain fees.
14. Enterprise, API, and Custom Plans
14.1 Separate Agreements
Enterprise plans, API access, and custom plans may be subject to separate written agreements, order forms, or addenda. In event of conflict, the separate agreement controls.

15. Payment Security and Data
15.1 Payment Processor Security
All payment processing is handled by third-party processors in compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
15.2 No Storage of Full Payment Credentials
We don't store complete credit card numbers, CVV, or full payment credentials on our servers. Such information is stored and processed solely by our payment processor.
15.3 Payment Data in Privacy Policy

16. Promotional Codes and Discounts
16.1 Use of Promotional Codes
We may offer promotional codes, discounts, or special offers. Promotional codes:
- Are subject to specific terms, conditions, and expiration dates
- May be limited to one use per user or account
- Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated
- Are non-transferable and have no cash value
- May be revoked or deactivated anytime
16.2 Abuse
We may cancel any order or subscription obtained using promotional codes used fraudulently, in violation of offer terms, or in manner we determine to be abusive.
17. Changes to This Policy
17.1 Right to Modify
We may modify this Payment & Billing Policy anytime. Changes effective upon posting updated Policy on the Service and updating "Last Updated" date.
17.2 Notice of Material Changes
If we make material changes negatively affecting your rights or obligations (such as reducing refund eligibility or increasing fees for existing subscriptions), we'll provide at least 30 days' advance notice via:
- Posting prominent notice on the Service
- Email to your account email
17.3 Acceptance of Changes
Continued use or payment of subscription fees after effective date constitutes acceptance of updated Policy. If you disagree, you may cancel subscription as described in Section 7.
