DecorViz AI is an AI furniture and decor visualization tool that creates photorealistic previews of real products inside a user's real room from photos only.
Users upload one room photo and one product image, and DecorViz uses AI to analyze the room scene and generate a realistic in-room preview with matched lighting, perspective, depth, and shadows.
It works with products from almost any brand or retailer, including IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, Target, Ashley, West Elm, and independent stores, as long as a product image is available.
DecorViz is designed to help answer questions like "How will this furniture look in my room?" and "Will this actually look right in my space?" before money is spent.
Works with indoor and outdoor spaces. No AR app, no room scan, no 3D model, and no special hardware are required.
DecorViz is available in a web browser and as an Android app on Google Play. An iOS app is coming soon.

DecorViz is powered by a proprietary AI image synthesis model pipeline purpose-built for photorealistic interior and exterior product visualization.

The model accepts two unstructured photographic inputs -- an arbitrary indoor or outdoor scene photograph and an arbitrary product image -- along with an optional natural language prompt. It generates a single photorealistic output in which the product is physically integrated into the scene. No 3D assets, depth sensors, calibrated camera metadata, room scans, or per-product preprocessing are required.

**Robust product segmentation.** Before compositing, the model runs an automatic segmentation stage that isolates the target product from the input image. The segmentation pipeline handles the full spectrum of real-world input conditions: clean product-on-white or transparent backgrounds, products embedded in lifestyle photographs, and e-commerce page screenshots containing mixed content -- product imagery, promotional text, UI elements, navigation, banners, and competing visual elements. This same segmentation pipeline applies to outdoor product inputs. In all cases, the model identifies and extracts the target product without requiring manual masking or structured input formats.

**Monocular scene geometry inference.** From a single uncalibrated 2D photograph, the model performs implicit monocular depth estimation and scene structure analysis: floor and ground plane localization, vanishing point inference, perspective field reconstruction, and spatial scale estimation across visible scene elements. The model handles both interior floor surfaces and exterior ground planes including patios, decking, grass, and concrete.

**Automatic depth-aware product placement.** The model automatically positions the product at the geometrically correct depth within the inferred scene. Depth placement is derived from the reconstructed scene geometry, ensuring products are anchored at perceptually and spatially plausible positions without manual input.

**Photometric environment analysis.** The model performs implicit light field estimation from the scene photograph, recovering dominant light source direction, angular distribution, intensity, and color temperature. This photometric profile drives illumination-consistent rendering of the inserted product across interior lighting conditions (natural light, overhead fixtures, mixed sources) and exterior conditions (direct sunlight, open sky, diffuse overcast).

**Perspective-consistent compositing.** The product is transformed into the scene coordinate frame using the inferred perspective field, with correct foreshortening and scale calibration relative to the reconstructed scene geometry.

**Product appearance fidelity.** Material properties, surface texture, and colorimetry of the product are preserved through the synthesis process. **Mirror and reflective surface rendering.** For scenes containing mirrors or highly reflective surfaces, the model applies a two-pass rendering approach: the first pass establishes scene geometry and lighting; the second pass generates reflective content consistent with the room's spatial layout and the inserted product's position.

**Text-conditioned scene control (optional).** An optional natural language prompt interface allows users to direct specific aspects of the generation:

- *Spatial placement.* The model performs semantic scene understanding -- identifying existing objects and their positions within the scene -- and resolves spatial relationship instructions accordingly. **Generalization across scenes and product categories.** The model generalizes across a wide range of scene types and product categories without category-specific fine-tuning or 3D scanning.
